DipTech

DipTech Systems® designs, manufactures and installs dip molding machinery, dip coating machinery and related automated equipment. We are proud of the fact that we currently support customers in over 14 countries and have completed over 500 projects in the last 10 years. 

Located in Kent, Ohio, close to Interstate 76, DipTech Systems is halfway between Chicago and New York City in the heart of Industrial America and near Akron, Ohio, once known as the “Rubber Capital of the World”. The University of Akron, which has both the Goodyear Polymer Center and the National Polymer Innovation Center on campus, is at the center of the Polymer Valley and is a leader in polymer research and production. Major polymer suppliers and industry leaders are based in the Akron/Kent area. 

History

DipTech Systems® was founded in 2004 in Salem, Ohio. The parent company acquired the assets of LeanBeam, Inc., an assembly conveyance company which services the automotive and appliance industry with advanced assembly and conveyance methods. 

The existing engineering and fabrication infrastructure of our sister company, Leanbeam, allowed DipTech Systems® to rapidly grow by focusing our efforts on customer needs and the advancement of the equipment designs offered. Integrating facets of the new material handling techniques acquired and implementation of 3D design software further accelerated DipTech Systems®’ equipment design to new levels. 

In 2005, DipTech Systems® relocated to our current office and fabrication facility on the southwestern side of Kent, Ohio, near I-76. We are adjacent to Akron, which is a world-renowned center for polymer research and development. In 2007, New Era Technical was added as a sister company to DipTech® Systems.New Era Technical provides temporary and permanent placement for technical designers, engineers and assembly laborers to a wide array of companies in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia. The access to engineers has afforded DipTech Systems® the ability to enhance our core staff as necessary, based upon the workload or technical specialty requirements of each project. 

In 2009, DipTech Systems® expanded our services to include in-house process and product development, as well as production of various dip molded and dip coated products to assist our customers in their initial product launch or with test marketing studies. Our temperature and humidity controlled laboratory features five various sized batch style machines and support equipment that can handle both solvent and aqueous solutions. 

In 2018 DipTech joined the Molded Devices Inc. group of companies.
